Description
- Actively participate in scrum meetings and contribute to discussions on technical solutions and system architecture.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful microservices using C# and SQL Server on Azure.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot ETL processes that integrate with multiple third-party HRIS systems.
- Work with Azure queues, publisher-subscriber patterns, and SFTP to ensure efficient data transfer and processing.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and implement designs based on team decisions.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and Data Operations teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Implement monitoring strategies and work with the platform team to improve system observability.
- Have a strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud deployment strategies to effectively collaborate with DevOps teams.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- 4+ years of experience in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure-based RESTful microservices.
- Strong experience with ETL processes and integrating with third-party APIs and HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in Azure message queues, publisher-subscriber patterns, and SFTP protocols.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and best practices for scalable architectures.
- Experience in monitoring and observability for cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure principles (while not responsible for deployments, understanding is required).
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a coach mindset for mentoring junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to encourage collaboration and a positive team environment.
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with HRIS systems, compensation industry, or HR software.
