What You’ll Do
- Design and execute comprehensive API test strategies to ensure robust and reliable integrations.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for integration testing, data validation, and front-end testing.
- Collaborate with software developers and UI/UX designers to identify testing requirements and design appropriate test cases.
- Monitor and analyze test results, promptly identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
- Utilize log analysis tools to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, particularly within Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems, such as JIRA.
- Experience in backend testing with SQL Server and MongoDB databases.
- Strong skills in API testing, including thorough verification of API responses based on expected formats and data.
- Deep understanding of tools like Postman and Swagger for API testing and documentation.
- Ability to write and comprehend complex SQL queries.
- Competence in developing comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze API and microservices interactions.
- Experience in log analysis using tools such as Datadog, Kibana, or Sentry to diagnose errors and understand system behavior.

Compensation
For roles with compensation ranges:
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the monthly base salary range for this position is 21,550 - 32,325 RON (Gross) per month, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).

When it matters (usually no more than a few times a year) we take the time to gather in larger groups for in-person events. Payscale has employees across the US, Canada, UK, and Romania however we are currently unable to hire in the Quebec Province, Northern Ireland, and Hawaii.
