The Compliance Regulatory Reporting team plays a crucial role in ensuring PayPal adheres to global regulatory obligations. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing capabilities that enable a self-service Reporting platform. This involves creating efficient tools and processes to streamline compliance reporting and ensure accuracy. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Additionally, you will continuously enhance the platform to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. Your contributions will help maintain PayPal's compliance and regulatory standards on a global scale.

Your day to day

Collaborate closely with Architects to design and develop complex systems. Take ownership and drive the design, development, and delivery of features with the team. Partner with Product Owners to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements. Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Quickly prototype ideas using cutting-edge technologies.

• Oversee the daily activities of the engineering team, ensuring efficient workflow within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Be a collaborative team player who works effectively across various teams within PayPal with integrity and commitment.
• Maintain a customer-centric approach, striving to deliver exceptional customer experiences through the products and features developed.
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies to build scalable and robust applications.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through practices like code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to learn and grow their skills.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Address and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
