We're looking for an outstanding Data Science Intern. This position assists in conducting advanced data analyses and producing industry insights that support projects all over Pattern. The successful candidate will be aligned with a high-priority project tailored to their unique skills, career interests, and our team’s evolving needs.

This is a full-time 2027 Summer internship that will last approximately 12 weeks and work a hybrid schedule from our office in Lehi, UT.

What is a day in the life of a Data Science Intern?

    • Having a passion for data and using data science to solve business problems

    • Working with business stakeholders to identify, scope, and build models and pipelines

    • Performing advanced data wrangling, model building, and evaluate project performance

    • Driving adoption of data science tools and best practices

What will I need to thrive in this role?

    • Having a passion for data and using data science to solve business problems

What does high performance look like?

    • You follow through with all assignments in a timely manner

    • You give 100% to all tasks and projects you are given

    • You will take full ownership of your projects and follow through to completion 

What is my potential for career growth?

    You will work extensively with members of the Data Science team at Pattern. You will have the chance to learn and grow under their mentorship. The right candidate, executing at a high level, may be considered for a full-time role post internship, or an extension to continue working with the team part-time after returning to school. Full-time conversion will be considered if a full-time position is available. 

What is the team like?

    You will work with the other full-time Data Scientist as well as be supervised by a senior member of the Data Science team. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.

What is the hiring process?

    • Onsite technical assessment with a senior member of the Data Science team
