Payments Data Analyst

We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Payments Analyst  to support our mission.

This role is based in Porto, Portugal and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

Are you interested in being part of the team that makes a direct impact to creators? You’ll play an integral role as a part of the Payment Operations team, supporting to ensure that payments run effectively and efficiently. You will have a holistic view of the end-to-end payment cycle, inclusive to both the creator and member payout/pay-in experience . As a Payment Ops Analyst, you will be responsible for troubleshootingmanaging and resolving payment issues and inquiries. In addition, you will collaborate cross-functionally on issues to ensure daily operations are completed and act as an escalation point for process matters. This role provides an opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment, where you will have the flexibility and adaptability to prioritize and execute multi-tasks independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Payment Engineering teams on payment-related escalations and issues

• Investigate and resolve inquiries/issues from external/internal stakeholders; act as an escalation point for process matters

• Monitor payment performance and trends, communicate any issues and findings to cross functional teams, internally and externally.

• Manage, audit, and update internal and external payment-related articles and documents

• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose new processes to streamline workflows and reduce manual workloads. 

• Participate and contribute to various payment optimization projects

About You

• Have strong analytical and communication skills 

• Have a creator-first outlook, always looking for ways to improve the creator experience

• Have strong critical thinking skills 

• Proficiency in SQL

• Fluency in English

• Have flexibility and adaptability to solve new case types

• Experience in Fintech and in the payments industry is a plus
