Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Test Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to flex your problem solving skills to validate unique software engineering projects. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Creating and analyzing automated tests
• Performing manual tests to verify changes in software as seen in the terminal and web browser
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation
• Taking part in software design discussions

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• BS degree in a field such as computer science, software engineering, information technology, information security, or technical writing (experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
• 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Analytical troubleshooting skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Linux, Git, and VM (virtual machine) experience
• Scripting with Bash, Python, or Robot
• Computer networking knowledge
• Database performance testing knowledge with SQL, Elasticsearch, or HDFS (Hadoop Distributed Filesystem)
• Knowledge of automated tests frameworks such as JUnit or Jasmine

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
