  • Coordinate multi‑disciplinary design reviews to ensure integrated, clash‑free and operable solutions.

  • Ensure that all designs meet:

    • Functional and performance requirements

    • Safety and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) targets

    • Local and international standards/codes

  • Work closely with Independent Safety Assessor and Independent Checker/Engineer to demonstrate integrated system safety and compliance.

  • Drive resolution of cross‑discipline design issues, concessions, and non‑conformities.

  • Define test programmes and sequences to progressively validate integration between subsystems and the complete railway.

  • Coordinate integration tests involving multiple contractors and disciplines; ensure availability of resources, access, and test tools.

  • Monitor test results, defect logs, and corrective actions, ensuring closure of integration issues before revenue service.

  • Support safety case preparation and approvals for trial running and passenger operations.

  • Ensure integration of safety and RAMS requirements across all systems and interfaces.

  • Review and consolidate safety analyses, hazard logs, and risk assessments, ensuring appropriate allocation and mitigation of hazards at interfaces.

  • Support preparation of the system safety case, including integration evidence and justifications.

  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure that integrated systems support operational concepts, procedures, and maintainability.

  • Contribute to operational readiness planning and trial operations for a Metro Line.

  • Support the Programme Director in aligning technical integration activities with overall programme schedule and milestones.

  • Develop and maintain integration work plans, schedules, and risk registers.

  • Identify and manage technical integration risks, dependencies, and constraints, proposing mitigation and recovery strategies.

  • Provide regular status reports, dashboards, and briefings on integration progress, issues, and decisions required.
