Job Description:

Parsons is seeking highly experienced and certified Cloud Engineer to join our team, specializing in large-scale data processing, analytics, and the integration of various Department of Defense (DoD) data repositories across multiple security fabrics. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical DoD missions by leveraging advanced cloud technologies to enhance data processing, analytics, and integration capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Cloud Engineer at Parsons, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our development teams and ensuring the secure and efficient deployment of capabilities within the AWS cloud environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure to handle extensive data processing and analytics tasks.

• The Cloud Engineer will work closely with other developers to integrate diverse DoD data repositories, ensuring seamless data flow and security across different security fabrics.

• They will also provide guidance and best practices to development teams, helping them to build and deploy capabilities efficiently and securely in the AWS cloud.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about solving complex challenges with innovative cloud solutions.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering

• AWS certification (required)

• The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of cloud architecture, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills are essential, the Cloud Engineer will need to interact with various stakeholders and team members to ensure that all cloud solutions meet mission requirements and adhere to best practices.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $155,600.00 - $280,100.00
