Job Description:

Ready to put your civil / structural engineering skills to work on marquee projects that will change the fabric of our community? Do you enjoy being involved on a wide variety of engineering tasks on large scale, projects? Parsons is now hiring an Associate Structural Engineer (Entry Level) for our rapidly expanding business. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.

• Under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develop the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.

• Responsible for the development of structural analysis and design computations, drawings, material quantity take-offs, and estimates.

• Provide support to other engineering activities as required.

• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages associated with structural modelling is preferred.

• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is an advantage.

• Versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.
