• Design, execute, and maintain security test plans covering OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
• Perform static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) using tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Veracode.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and collaborate with development teams to remediate security defects.
• Ensure compliance with security standards including ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and industry-specific regulations.
• Participate in security audits and risk assessments across application layers (API, web, mobile).
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT cycles in collaboration with business analysts and end users.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into comprehensive UAT test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and track defects through to resolution.
• Develop UAT reports and sign-off documentation for stakeholder review.
• Act as the liaison between QA, business, and development teams during acceptance testing phases.

• Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and exploratory manual testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts aligned with project requirements.
• Log, triage, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Conduct usability and accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG standards.
• Analyse test results and produce clear defect reports with reproducible steps and root-cause analysis.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for UI, API, and regression testing.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, RestAssured, or Postman.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for continuous quality assurance.
• Monitor automated test results, analyse failures, and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.
• Implement data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches to maximise reusability.

• Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and QA documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) as the QA representative.
• Mentor junior test engineers and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shift quality left and embed testing early in the development process.
• Track and report QA metrics including defect density, test coverage, pass/fail rates, and release readiness.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Demonstrated experience in security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Proven track record of planning and executing UAT with business stakeholders.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing across web, API, and/or mobile applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Veracode, or similar.Security Testing Tools:

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
