Cyber Security Officer (KSA Nationals)
Department: Consulting Services
Experience: 0-1 Year
- Monitor security alerts and events using security monitoring tools.
- Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents.
- Escalate potential security threats to senior analysts when required.
- Monitor endpoints, networks, and security devices for suspicious activities.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident handling.
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and basic security investigations.
- Support log monitoring and security event analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve security-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and procedures.
- Prepare daily shift reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN, Firewalls).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Al Khobar and in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Basic understanding of SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
- Familiarity with endpoint security concepts.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC, Cisco CyberOps Associate, or Google Cybersecurity Certificate are an added advantage.
