Description
We are looking for a System Integration Engineer to deliver innovative functionalities to our customers and optimize our next-generation of Open-RAN base-station products in LTE and 5G NR Cellular Networks.
Responsibilities
- Systems integration engineer for 5G/4G/2G basestation products
- Platform bring-up - BIOS, OS, networking, platform services
- Integration of complex multi-node, multi-applications embedded systems onto Linux GPP-based server platforms (Intel, AMD, Arm)
- End-to-end full telco stack bring-up, from core network to radio
- Performance evaluation and analysis
Requirements:
- Independent problem solver with strong software skills
- Effective team player, able to work as part of a global multidisciplinary team
- Desire to work in a mixed office and lab environment
- Practical experience and knowledge of Linux architecture alongside networking
- Working experience in Docker containers, ideally cloud native deployments
- C/C++ development experience of high-performance, ideally real-time applications - Advantage
- An understanding of one or more wireless or telecoms standards - Advantage
- Experience of participating in plugfest or other IoT events - Advantage
- Experience of working with RF test equipment - Advantage
