The Principal Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on frontend will play a pivotal role in leading the development of our web applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, with a primary emphasis on frontend development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a technical expert, and a collaborative leader who can drive our engineering team to new heights.
- Lead FE Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications with a focus on user experience and responsive design.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Full-Stack Expertise: Collaborate with BE developers to ensure seamless integration between FE and BE systems.
- Architecture & Design: Contribute to architectural decisions and lead the development of new features and functionalities.
- Code Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Innovation: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development with a focus on FE technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern FE frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
- Experience with NodeJS or Java backend development.
- Strong understanding of GraphQL, RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with database technologies: SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Experience in building modern cloud services using microservices.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Have impeccable verbal and written communication skills (in English) for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Experience in a fast-moving FinTech startup is a plus
