Description
 As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing and optimizing our data systems using Snowflake and dbt. You will apply your expertise to support GTM initiatives, analyze product performance, and drive revenue growth. Your role will involve working closely with sales, marketing, product, and finance analytics teams and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and enhance our data capabilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Data Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and manage data models within Snowflake to support efficient data integration, transformation, and analysis.
  • dbt Implementation: Develop and oversee dbt projects to create reliable and scalable data transformations. Implement and maintain dbt models, tests, and macros.
  • GTM Analytics: Collaborate with GTM teams to analyze sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer acquisition metrics. Assist in the development of dashboards and reports that support GTM strategies and optimize market outreach.
  • Product Analytics: Work with product teams to analyze product usage, feature adoption, and user behavior. Create insights and recommendations that drive product improvements and strategic decisions.
  • Revenue Analytics: Partner with finance and revenue teams to build financial models, track revenue metrics, and analyze trends. Provide data-driven insights to optimize revenue strategies and performance.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize Snowflake queries and dbt transformations to ensure high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance practices to maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between data engineering, GTM, product, and finance analytics teams. Understand their data needs and provide tailored analytics solutions.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, dbt models, and analytics processes. Provide training and support to team members on best practices and tools.
  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering. Propose and implement improvements to enhance data systems and analytics capabilities.

About you:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with a strong focus on Snowflake and dbt. Proven experience supporting Go-To-Market strategies, product analytics, and revenue optimization.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, including SQL and Snowflake architecture. Expertise in dbt, including model development, testing, and deployment.
  • GTM Experience: Demonstrated ability to use data to drive Go-To-Market strategies, including analyzing sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer insights.
  • Product Analytics: Experience in evaluating product performance, user behavior, and feature usage to inform product development and strategy.
  • Revenue Analysis: Knowledge of revenue modeling, forecasting, and analysis. Ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to enhance revenue strategies.
  • Data Modeling: Strong skills in data modeling and designing scalable data solutions.
  • Programming: Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., Python) for data processing and automation.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex data issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

The compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 USD plus equity.
