Your Career

We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our API Security & ITDR (Identity Threat Detection & Response) group. This position combines the agility and independence of a startup with the resources and backing of a successful corporation. Our mission is to mitigate cyber-attacks originating from API vulnerabilities and identity threats, safeguarding digital assets from malicious actors. 

Your Impact

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Lead Innovation - Initiate and lead groundbreaking projects and research, crafting advanced technologies and methodologies that redefine industry standards
• Write Production Code - Lead the development of complex solutions from concept to production, exemplifying engineering excellence
• Architect Solutions - Design and manage the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure architectures that address the most intricate challenges with innovative solutions
• Mentor and Develop - Provide thought leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and technical excellence
• Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and platform teams, to ensure cohesive and effective development strategies
• Advance Your Career - Participate in high-impact initiatives and leadership opportunities, with access to advanced professional development resources and strategic projects that shape the future of API security and identity domains

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• Proficient in diving into various code bases with ease and writing well-architected production code.
• Adept at driving complex architectures involving multiple stakeholders and promoting engineering excellence within your group
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or similar
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent military experience
• Extensive experience in building and managing distributed cloud-based SaaS applications
• Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Skilled in monitoring, profiling, and enhancing system performance
• Ability to mentor team members, providing guidance and support during both design and development phases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in developing ML models and working on anomaly detection systems
