We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Email Security team and play a key role in delivering a cutting-edge email security solution within the Cortex platform. As the Engineering Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to build and shape a highly talented team, responsible for designing and developing an infrastructure capable of handling billions of events per second. Seamlessly integrating with leading cybersecurity products, you will create an advanced email security solution that sets the highest standards of availability, reliability, and security.

Not only will you lead the backend engineering efforts, but you will also spearhead creativity and innovation, conducting research to identify and implement new technologies that keep us at the forefront of the industry. With a fast-paced work environment in our Cortex engineering group, based primarily in the TLV office, you'll have the agility and short decision-making loops necessary to tackle wide and complex scopes.

Your Impact 

• Your Impact is Huge - Lead and build a new team for a groundbreaking new product, shaping its development, culture, and design from concept to full implementation
• Make a Difference - Focus on meaningful, high-impact work, avoiding mundane tasks or endless bug fixes! Take on the challenge of building major components of the innovative product, contributing to its significant advancement and success
• Conquer Challenges - Prepare to overcome development in a matrix management challenges that come with developing a new offering designed to operate at massive scale on existing platforms - Tackle complex challenges and push boundaries, creating robust solutions capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly growing user base
• Lead Innovation - Venture into new cutting-edge technologies, conducting in-depth research to stay ahead of the curve
• Seamlessly integrate these technologies to enhance the capabilities of the product, driving continuous improvement and evolution

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering Management
• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a production Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment and distributed system environments
• Experience in leading large complex scope and product, preferably including matrix management
• Experience in building and forming new teams including large scale hiring
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent military experience required
• Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Development experience with Python, Golang
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, deal with changing priorities and drive accountability
• Passion for continuous improvement of systems and processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Innovative and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
