Job Summary

The Team

Unit 42 Consulting is Palo Alto Network's security advisory team. Our vision is to create a more secure digital world by providing the highest quality incident response, risk management, and digital forensic services to clients of all sizes. Our team is composed of recognized experts and incident responders with deep technical expertise and experience in investigations, data breach response, digital forensics, and information security. With a highly successful track record of delivering mission-critical cybersecurity solutions, we are experienced in working quickly to provide an effective incident response, attack readiness, and remediation plans with a focus on providing long-term support to improve our clients’ security posture.

Job Summary

As a Consulting Director in Unit 42, you will serve as a senior-level, trusted advisor to clients, responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our threat-led and technology-driven cybersecurity consulting services. You will lead a team of consultants, work with sales leaders to win new business, and manage client relationships. This role requires a passion for cybersecurity, a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while delivering technical consulting services to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of proactive and reactive consulting services, ensuring consistency, quality, and the highest level of customer service.

• Provide hands-on, expert-level proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) and Cloud security assessment and transformation services, delivering findings to audiences ranging from technical staff to the Board of Directors.

• Collaborate with Business Development and Customer Success Managers to lead scoping conversations, articulate methodologies, and prepare proposals to win new business.

• Partner with the Unit 42 executive team to develop and execute the strategy for the proactive services practice.

• Work with local sales and domain leaders to scope engagements and drive business growth.

• Drive innovation in service offerings by collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new capabilities to market that leverage Palo Alto Networks products.

• Support the professional growth and development of consultants through recruitment, onboarding, training, and technical enablement.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clientele to increase awareness of Unit 42’s capabilities and provide on-demand expertise.

• Identify and execute strategies for service development, practice enablement, and product adoption to advance practice goals.
