Based on this, we have built a portfolio of financial assets that has grown significantly. To further strengthen the team managing this portfolio, we are looking for a highly motivated Python & Data Solutions Engineer to support us in our mission.
From process automation and optimisation to statistical modeling and portfolio performance monitoring, this role offers exposure to the entire portfolio team’s processes and provides an opportunity to apply your analytical and technical skills across the full value chain of our portfolio.

  • Automate and optimise existing processes, such as the reporting and monitoring of portfolios
  • Develop new machine learning models from fraud detection methods to advanced forecasting models
  • Bring your expertise to question existing statistical models
  • Help the team to build shared Apps in Streamlit or a similar tool
  • Work on ad-hoc data analysis requests for internal or external stakeholders
  • Assist the team for the pricing of new portfolios
  • Closely collaborate with other teams such as our software development team, BI, Data Science, Sales and Partnership teams as well as C-level.
  • Successful completed academic education in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Business Informatics, Economics or similar
  • At least 5 years of work experience in similar roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Python (e.g. Pandas, Numpy) and good knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g. Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, etc.). Knowledge of visualisation libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, etc.) is a plus.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to identify, understand, structure and solve complex problems in a driven and pragmatic manner
  • Strong numerical proficiency, a keen affinity for technology, and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate analysis results effectively
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory, German knowledge is a plus 
  • Knowledge of Docker, Power BI, R, shared Apps like Streamlit is a plus
