- manage and improve existing infrastructure, participate in development of infrastructure for new application components and internal services
- troubleshooting reliability and performance issues
- set up, maintain and improve deployment procedures, server environments and testing infrastructure
- improve infrastructure automation (Bash, Python or Ruby)
- take ownership over specific components and work to improve them
- ensure that the data storage infrastructure and processing follow GDPR guidelines and legal requirements
- drive innovation from an IT perspective and support further business development
- stay on top of current tech industry trends
- 3+ years of relevant work experience within the field of DevOps; previous Linux administration, web development or software engineering experience
- deep knowledge of AWS services (IAM, Landing Zone, RDS, S3, ELB, ECS, Lambda)
- experience with running modern applications within Docker containers and relevant infrastructure (Docker & AWS ECS)
- ability to develop solid infrastructure, knowledge about continuous integration processes (CI/CD)
- excellent troubleshooting skills in cloud environments
- good communication skills, high proficiency in English is required
- high degree of independence
- willingness to learn and further develop your own skills and have the ability to train your colleagues
- bonus points for: DBA and Networking related skills
