Senior Director, Product Development

About the Role

Pagaya sits at the intersection of lenders, consumers and investors in the consumer credit ecosystem. We are looking for an experienced leader to join our Product team to be a pioneer in building out innovative products and solutions that add value to our partners/customers. In this role, you will partner with the Head of Product to help build out a roadmap and launch products that will expand and enhance our current and future capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development for Pagaya’s core lending business, building and launching new capabilities that advance our business objectives 
• Handle the end-to-end product lifecycle, driving execution from inception to launch and beyond 
• Lead the development and execution of product roadmaps within our Personal Loans portfolio and other asset classes as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and internal stakeholders across our business to inform product planning, define and prioritize requirements, and deliver creative and innovative solutions 
• Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success, regularly monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize product development and offerings.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments in the credit lending market, translating data into actionable strategies to maintain our competitive edge.

Requirements

• A proven track record of successful product launch and delivery particularly in fintech or consumer lending
• 10+ years of product management experience, focused on building category-leading products and delivering high-quality outcomes
• Prior experience working with lead aggregators (like Credit Karma) preferred
• Proven expertise in consumer lending, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, risk management principles, and industry best practices.
• Robust technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
• Business-first approach, with the ability to dive into the details of how a business works, identifying how to make it better, and building product solutions that deliver significant value
• Proven ability to build strong relationships, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
• Strategic mindset, with the capacity to execute on complex projects and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and dig in to deliver the right results
• Familiarity with lending P&Ls and ability to create logical business cases
• Ability to integrate inputs from key functions like Marketing, Risk & Analytics to design product constructs
