About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist Team Lead to lead strategic research initiatives.Lead a high-impact team of researchers within our Research Department. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, people management, and the ability to navigate complex cross-functional relationships. You will be responsible for translating research into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Translating research into business impact
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented Data Scientists and Researchers.
• Master task management and prioritization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Act as the primary technical bridge between the Research team and various departments, including Risk, Engineering, and Business.
• Design solutions for the company’s core mission using Data Science methodologies from various domains
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality, research methodology, and statistical validation.

Requirements

• B.A a related field- Math/CS/Physics/Stats
• 2+ years of experience as Team Lead Data Scientist 
• 5+ years of experience in Data Scientist, working with tabular data on ML modeling
• Running live experiments
• Experience in methodological leadership, mentoring
• Track record of translating research into business impact
• Knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, XGBoost, Scikit-learn). Deep understanding of statistics and probability.
• Great interpersonal skills, and strong collaborator
