Job Summary

Key Skills:

Required - SQL, Basic ETL/BI tools

Python, Data Governance Experience (any DG specific tool I,e Alation / Apache Atlas / Ataccama One / Collibra), Business Analyst/Operational experience is a plus.

• Skills: Data Governance (DG), SQL, ETL Tools, BI Tools, Python
• Responsibilities: Focus on technical implementation and management of data governance initiatives, data curation, and ensuring data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Governance Implementation:

• Implement and manage data governance initiatives using cataloguing tools
• Maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.

2.Data Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to data governance principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Implement /Manage Data quality frameworks to ensure compliance

3. Data Curation:

• Responsible for data curation and management, ensuring catalogue is accurate and up-to-date.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in SQL and database querying languages.
• Knowledge of Python scripting for data manipulation and analysis.

5. Functional Expertise:

• Collaborate with the operations team to document terms and definitions, and investigate data lineage.
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective data governance practices.
• Develop and maintain data governance documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

• Master's (or equivalent), B.Tech/B.E/ BSc in Computers or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
