We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automation Test Lead to drive quality assurance efforts and lead our testing initiatives.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Lead with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with expertise in Playwright and Javascript/Typescript. The ideal candidate will lead the QA team, define testing strategies, ensure product quality, and collaborate closely with development and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Javascript/Typescript.
- Experience with Python and Pytest for Test Automation
- Experience with AWS services and Grafana logs for monitoring and debugging.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Experience using AI assisted development tools or IDE's (Eg : Cursor).
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines using Github actions
- Mentor and guide a team of 8-10 QA Engineers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Playwright, Javascript/Typescript, Python and Pytest.
- Experience in manual testing, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestNG, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation testing tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Exposure to AI assisted tools
