💻 The impact you will have
- Architect and develop scalable, reliable POS integrations that enable restaurants to easily connect with our platform
- Streamline the creation of new native integrations, reducing time-to-market for new systems
- Improve monitoring and alerting for issues between our platform and POS systems, ensuring smooth operations
- Build fail-safe mechanisms to reduce order failure rates and optimize workflows for order fulfillment
- Refactor and modernize outdated integrations, ensuring performance, compatibility, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to simplify and enhance the integration setup process
👥 Who you’ll work with
- This role reports to Joan Roig, the Engineering Manager of the POS Integrations team
- You will work closely to other engineers on the team, our product manager, as well as our integration specialists and customer success folks.
✅ Minimum requirements
- ~5+ years of backend experience, with strong expertise in Node.js, Mongo, and AWS
- Previous experience with third-party API integrations (bonus points for POS systems experience)
- Comfortable working with and digging into external APIs, solving real-world challenges through integrations
- Proven track record of collaborating with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
- Experience working at a product-focused startup/scale-up or technology company
- Dedicated to continuous professional development and possessing a lifelong-learner mindset
🏆 Pay and benefits
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $165k - $200k, plus a generous equity pre-IPO equity package
