Job Title: Data Engineer

Years of experience: 5-8 Years

On a typical day you will:

• Build and manage scalable, governed, and AI-ready data products on Snowflake and Azure that enable analytics, business insights, and enterprise AI solutions.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security principles

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data products and pipelines on Snowflake and Azure.

• Develop trusted, AI-ready datasets through semantic enrichment, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

• Collaborate with business, analytics, and AI teams to translate requirements into reusable and scalable data solutions.

• Optimize Snowflake performance, security, and cost efficiency while supporting enterprise-scale workloads.

• Enable next-generation analytics and AI use cases through well-governed, discoverable, and reusable data assets.

• Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and engineering accelerators that improve scalability and delivery speed.

What you will need to be successful:

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, and related Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or modern ELT frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience building enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and security principles.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures.

Knowledge of Snowpark, Snowflake Cortex, and AI/ML integration patterns.

Experience with Python, Spark, and API integrations.

Good to have Data Mesh and domain-oriented data architecture principles.
