What You'll Do:
- Hiring and managing a team of engineers.
- Work with leadership to shape and refine the product vision and technical architecture for Orum and communicate those to your team.
- Defining, planning, and delegating engineering tasks to be done, and communicating needs, expectations, or progress with stakeholders across the company.
- Enabling the engineers in your team to do the work by reviewing, coaching, providing feedback, problem-solving, and removing roadblocks.
- Setting a high technical standard, and coaching your team to consistently meet those standards.
Must Have:
- You are based in the USA. This position is not open to other countries at this time.
- You have 3+ years managing an engineering team that have shipped a high-value SaaS product.
- You value engineering rigor - simple, well-factored, well-tested code - and know how to coach other engineers on those skills.
- You care about coaching and growing engineers.
- You have experience with TypeScript/NodeJS/Linux stack.
- You have experience working with an RDBMS using SQL.
Nice to Have:
- Experience at a startup or high-growth company
- Experience with cloud infrastructure programming with AWS, GCP, or Azure
