The role partners closely with Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, Clinical, and Commercial teams to enable compliant growth, strong controls, and data-driven decision‑making.

This hybrid role is based out of either our South San Francisco, CA or San Diego, CA office

Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead and develop a high-performing enterprise applications team, including internal staff and external consultants.
  • Own vendor relationships, implementation partners, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Drive application portfolio cost optimization, licensing strategy, and ROI.
  • Establish and track KPIs for system availability, support SLAs, delivery quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise applications and IT leadership roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience implementing and supporting cloud-based ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ownership of GxP‑validated systems and validation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SOX ITGCs, audit processes, and financial systems controls.
  • Experience integrating supply chain systems and managing 3PL connectivity.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional enterprise system implementations in a regulated environment.
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations.

Preferred
