More than one million people in the United States today are fighting blood cancer. While a traditional
allogeneic stem cell transplant has been the best hope for many, the transplant itself can prove fatal or lead to serious conditions, such as graft vs. host disease. Orca Bio is a late-stage biotechnology company redefining the transplant process by developing next-generation cell therapies with the goal of providing significantly better survival rates with dramatically fewer risks.

Orca Bio seeks a LIMS software solution developer that will configure based on Traksys (Parsec) Manufacturing Execution System to streamline and enhance our laboratory testing processes that are required to manufacture and test drug products. Laboratory processes include sample management and tracking, test order management, scheduling and automation, testing process documentation with built in calculations and integration to result files and testing equipment, and test report generation and tracking.
Qualifications:
● BS in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical)
● 2+ years’ experience configuring and developing Parsec TrakSYS applications
● 5+ years experience programming in C#, .NET and javascript
● Experience with SQL
● Basic knowledge of API data structures and communications
● Familiarity with working in a FDA GMP manufacturing environment
● Basic knowledge of FDA CFR part 11 compliance
Responsibilities
● Write highly efficient and maintainable production-level code in C#.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy software solutions that meet business requirements.
● Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing using Selenium.
● Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
● Work closely with product managers, designers, scientific subject matter experts and other developers to deliver high-quality software products.
● Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall Traksys implementation at the company.
● Work with the middleware development team on the product modules integration.
