Sr Principal Software Developer - Database Architect

As a Sr Principal Software Developer & Database Architect on our team, you’ll be responsible for, and lead efforts in, designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support our health care platform and the users it serves especially focusing on the Database. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a technical leader on the team, you will own the complete software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production. You will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes.

• Designing and developing highly scalable database components on Oracle Autonomous Database including deep proficiency in JDBC, JPA, data replication, Golden Gate and migrating from MS SQL server to Oracle Autonomous Database. 
• Demonstrated understanding of cloud native architecture, JEE, JVM internals and experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is desired. 
• Seeking demonstrable troubleshooting skills and and performance tuning of Oracle ADB, Golden Gate among others.
