Software Development Manager

Location: United States

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to build and lead a team of FDEs who win technical confidence through compelling demos and proofs-of-concept, and who scale their impact by productizing field patterns into accelerators, tooling, and reference solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role — close enough to the work to unblock a customer POC or review an accelerator’s design, and strategic enough to shape how the FDE function operates and how field signal informs the AIDP roadmap.

Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering Oracle AI Data Platform Oracle AI Data Platform (AIDP) unites industry-leading foundational models with governed enterprise data to enable developers to rapidly and easily build their enterprise lakehouse. Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) are the technical front line of that mission: they embed alongside our most strategic customers and partners, translate ambiguous business problems into working solutions on AIDP, and turn what they learn in the field into reusable accelerators that make the entire platform faster and easier to adopt.
