Software Developer 5

This job will require you to design and deliver a new set of enterprise applications across a broad range of functional areas that will serve a vast community of users across the globe. Experience with software architecture, cloud infrastructure, frontend/backend development, agile methodologies, and clean code principles is desired. We are a startup team with huge plans, a large vision, and a determination to move fast.

Minimum Qualifications

1. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 
2. 6+ years of software engineering or related experience.
3. 3-5 years of experience in mentoring and leading teams by providing technical expertise in, preferably,  0-1 product development.  You will be the technical lead of a team of 6-10 engineers.
4. Strong system design knowledge and distributed systems architecture best practices
5. Knowledge of clean code principles and experience writing great code in Java or other OO languages.
6. Strong expertise in System Design, REST, SQL, and Data model
7. Experienced in any of the computing platforms, such as OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure
8. Experience with CI/CD
9. Hands-on experience working with  incident management, monitoring, observability, and testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

1. Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
2. Experience working with AI and Data Scientists teams. You will be working very closely with our Data Science team to build Gen AI capabilities within our product. This is a high-priority area.
3. Worked in Agile environments and with Agile methodologies - We are an agile development team
