Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.35570)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

1. Java, Python, and C#;

2. Message Queuing including Kafka and RMQ;

3. Data caching including Redis;

4. Database including MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and SQL;

5. Cloud Services including CI/CD and Containerization;

6. Event streaming and event sourcing for designing scalable, real-time distributed systems, including building high-throughput data ingestion pipelines, managing event schemas and evolution, and ensuring reliable, fault-tolerant processing of large-scale data streams;

7. Micro Services REST, gRPC, JWT, and OAuth;

8. LLM integration and RAG;

9. System design for scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems supporting real-time data processing and high-throughput ingestion; and,

10. Observability including Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and Prometheus.
