Job Description: Performance Test Engineer

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Performance Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our DBE solutions. You will lead performance testing initiatives, comprising problem diagnosis, performance troubleshooting and identify tuning opportunities to achieve target Performance KPI goals.  and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Performance Testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies for solution applications, ensuring system resilience under various load conditions.
• Test Strategy Development: Establish and implement advanced testing methodologies and frameworks that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize performance monitoring tools to capture and analyze metrics, providing detailed reports and insights to stakeholders and suggesting improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, architecture, and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Mentorship & Guidance: Provide mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, processes, and results, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance testing and BSS solutions to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in performance testing and dimensioning of BSS or telecom applications, with a proven track record of leading testing initiatives.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Jmeter, seagull, SIP Tester (Voice call generator)).
  • Advanced proficiency in Performance analyzing tools (e.g. Oracle DB AWR, Linux Resource utilization tool, Java flight recorder, Stacks) 
  • Strong understanding of database technologies and experience with SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of BSS components, including CRM, billing, and order management systems.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based BSS solutions and architectures.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
