Operations Insights (OPSI) is an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI) native service that helps customers to get insights about capacity, performance and diagnostics aspects of their cloud and on-premises resources like Database and Compute. Under the cover, this service’s analytical engine is powered by large volume of data ingested from various sources followed by long term data storage and running ML algorithms to piece together various insights and recommendations. All these are done at cloud scale to serve for 1000s of customers across all regions of OCI.

Looking for a Full-Stack software developer with the following qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experiences, especially in highly scalable, available and fault tolerant distributed systems
• Strong algorithmic skills
• Effective communication skills (written and spoken) and strong problem resolution skills
• Good object-oriented programming skills, preferably Java
• Experience with technologies like Dropwizard, RESTful web services, micro service architecture
• Experience with JUnit, build & devops tools
• Ability to work in a fast paced Agile development and rapid deployment in the Cloud/SaaS environment
• Strong inclination towards test driven development
• Effective in working with remote teams spread across time zones (USA, India, Mexico)
• BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to Computer Science area.

Desirable qualifications for this positions are:

• Experience in GenAI/LLMs is a huge plus.
• Oracle Database knowledge
• Knowledge of Maven, Chef, Oracle DB, Jmockit, Authorization concepts, GIT, Grafana, YAML, Docker, Terraform
• GenAI certifications are strongly desirable
• Experiences in scripting languages is a plus
• Experiences with cloud platforms (e.g. OCI, AWS, Google Cloud), cloud technologies/deployments
• Experience in continuous delivery, deployment and monitoring of cloud based services
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
