Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.37760)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.

 

Position requires:

• Object oriented programming languages including Java, C++, and Python;
• Web development including building RESTful APIs and web services;
• Containerized applications including Docker and orchestration including Kubernetes;
• Linux and scripting;
• Data structures (Graph, Trees, Hashing, Arrays, and List), algorithms (Graph Traversal algorithms, Sorting, Searching, and Backtracking), operating systems (Linux, Unix, and MacOS), and distributed systems (failover, resiliency, availability, partitioning, latency and throughput, and caching);
• NoSQL and graph DB, systems, storage, distributed persistence technologies (Kafka), and caching strategies; and
• Cloud Infra Services Development by leveraging compute, storage, networking, and monitoring.
