• Proven experience in crafting and developing highly scalable, highly available, high-volume web applications , backend and middle-tier applications
• Proven experience in  developing, maintaining and debugging sophisticated PL/SQL packages Procedures and Functions and strong SQL knowledge including tuning and fixing experience
• Understanding of Data Modeling concepts and Database design concepts
• Understanding of modern cloud infrastructures; ideally the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience in developing modular UI frameworks and their API interfaces
• Proven ability to design and develop microservices and their supporting structures
• Understanding of cloud-based identity management systems, for both authentication and authorization
• Experience with application containerization, and ideally Kubernetes
• Hands-on development experience with
  • Oracle JET constituent technologies: HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Knockout, jQuery, RequireJs, Node.js, CSS3 and SASS
  • Relational databases, including SQL and Stored Procedures; ideally Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
  • Java for web applications, including Jersey JAX-RS, JDBC and related EE technologies
  • Authentication and Authorization technologies
  • Design and architecture APIs, Web/REST Services
• Excellent understanding of Agile development methodology
• Experience following a full lifecycle SDLC process, including creating technical designs, build and unit testing for complex requirements
• Technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate closely with UX design and software development teams
• 3-5 years of experience relevant to the functional area
• Prefer Retail software development experience
• BS or MS degree or equivalent relevant to functional area
