Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a set of complementary cloud services that enable customers to build and run a range of applications and services in a highly available hosted environment. OCI’s Security Posture and Compliance Platform team (Cloud Engineering) is developing an advanced SOAR platform to enhance the efficiency of cloud security operations. This platform, operating at a large scale in a widely distributed multi-tenant cloud environment, will integrate security tools seamlessly, automate repetitive tasks, and orchestrate incident response workflows. This aims to bring substantial gains in efficiency and effectiveness. The objective of the SOAR platform is to elevate the overall cybersecurity posture by improving the speed, efficiency, and consistency of incident response processes.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 7  years of experience in Software Engineering / Information Technology as a lead in solving real-world problems.
- Proficient with Java, J2EE, Java Rest, JUnit, SQL, Microservices, Cloud
- Proficient in SQL Queries with Oracle or any Backend technologies.
- Software Design and Hands-on Development in Java / Java Enterprise / Distributed Systems
- Collaborate with counterparts to understand requirements in detail and come up with design, and task breakdown.
- Write optimised code and care about the quality, performance, and security of the product
Proficient in problem solving 
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in any scripting languages like Python, Ruby, BASH
