Senior Linux Kernel Developer

***Please be aware this is a development role not a systems engineer/admin opening*** 

We are looking for a Senior Linux Kernel Developer to be part of a team working on kernel support for new hardware platforms, including smartNIC platforms.  The ideal candidate will have the following background:

• Linux kernel development
• Experience in analyzing kernel panics
• Experience in embedded systems
• Familiarity with assembly language programming

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

• Backporting upstream or vendor-supplied kernel patches
• Analyzing and debugging software and hardware problems
• Implementing bug fixes in the Linux kernel
• Implementing new features in the Linux kernel
• Performing both stress testing and performance testing of new hardware platforms
