Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer for Oracle Government, Defense, and Intelligence

Due to rapid growth, Oracle Government Defense and Intelligence (GDI) is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (Specialist) that has a passion for cloud concepts, and system integration, and cloud migrations that can support customer facing engagements along with several internal Oracle sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is tired of working on the same project or with the exact same technology for months or years without the possibility of future growth.

We are looking for a Cloud Pre-Sales Solution Engineer with expertise in the following specialty area’s:

• Database -- data management, Oracle polyglot Database, GoldenGate data replication
• Analytics - Data Lake solutions, Big Data, Hadoop - MapReduce, Apache Spark

Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems, feel comfortable working directly with customers and have an insatiable curiosity about what “is possible” with cloud technology.  The primary focus of a Solutions Engineer is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers, and internally to our sales force.

This position will be a hybrid position based in the Washington D.C. area

Must possess a Secret or TS/SCI clearance or have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance - US Citizen
