Principal Platform Software Engineer

Location: Nashville, TN, United States

Leads platform projects crossing multiple teams, evolving runtimes or middleware patterns for interoperability and multi-tenant scale. Diagnoses and resolves complex cross-service issues; enforces versioning, compatibility, and safe rollout practices. Drives observability standards, capacity planning, and resilience patterns across several workloads. Produces migration guides and adoption playbooks that raise ecosystem consistency and developer experience.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer with over 10+ year of experience to design and develop software, including automated test suites, for major components in our Network Monitoring & Analytics Stack. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build large-scale distributed monitoring and analytics solutions for the cloud, automate the config push and upgrading the network devices. You will be working with a talented group of engineers to solve complex problems in distributed systems, data processing, and network monitoring. Must have: Java, Python, JavaScript Preferred: Networking principles, Cloud fundamentals, node.js, OOD, OOA, Design patterns, AI fundamentals and AI assisted development.
