Principal OCI Middleware (FMW) Engineer with IAM Expertise

Responsibilities

Middleware and IAM Solution Design:

• Design and implement secure Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) solutions in OCI.
• Integrate IAM services, including Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS), with middleware components.

  Middleware Management:

•    Configure, deploy, and optimize Oracle Fusion Middleware components like WebLogic, SOA Suite, and OSB in OCI.
•  Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) setups for middleware applications.

 Identity and Access Management (IAM):

• Manage IAM configurations, including Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, SAML, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce IAM policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Performance and Security:

• Conduct performance tuning for middleware and IAM integrations, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
• Implement robust security measures, including SSL/TLS configurations, for middleware and IAM integrations.

Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution:

• Diagnose and resolve issues across middleware and IAM integrations.
• Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for middleware and IAM-related incidents.

Automation and Monitoring:

• Automate deployments and configurations using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or custom scripts.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for middleware and IAM components using OCI Monitoring and Logging.

Documentation and Collaboration:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to align on middleware and IAM strategies.

 Technical Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) components such as WebLogic, SOA Suite, and OSB.
• Experience with OCI services, including Networking, IAM, and Compute.
• Strong expertise in IAM protocols (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS).
• Programming and Automation Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible for middleware and IAM configurations.
• Performance and Security Skills:
• Expertise in SSL/TLS certificate management and middleware security configurations.
• Ability to optimize middleware performance and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems.
