Principal Data Systems Software Engineer

Location: BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, India

We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong software engineering and automation expertise to design and build scalable automation frameworks that improve service reliability and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Developers and Operations SRE teams to automate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), resolve complex production issues, enhance diagnostics, and continuously improve cloud-based services.

The ideal candidate combines strong development skills in Python and Java, production troubleshooting experience, cloud-first thinking, and leadership capabilities to drive automation initiatives that improve reliability, security, scalability, and performance.

The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Automation Team is a software engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable automation framework that enables standardized operational workflows to be automated efficiently and consistently. The team focuses on building reusable automation capabilities that improve service reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency across cloud environments.
