Principal Cloud Engineer

Location: BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, India

Seeking highly skilled and experienced Solution Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, AI Infra, GPUs and multi-cloud deployments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions, demonstrating strong expertise in network architecture, Infrastructure security, performance optimization, and AI infrastructure deployments.

Technical Requirements & Essential Skills:

Cloud Platforms

• Exposure with major cloud platforms (hyperscalers) such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience and Knowledge of working with GPUs will be an added advantage

Networking

• Good understanding of Networking protocols such as MPLS, BGP, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, and DHCP.
• Exposure to networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL.
• Multi-Cloud Deployments: Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale, multi-cloud environments.

Cloud Security : Good knowledge of infrastructure security best practices, including IAM, encryption, firewall, policies and compliance.

Automation & Scripting : Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell).

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC).

AI Infrastructure:

• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Understanding of AI infrastructure components, including GPUs, TPUs, and distributed training environments.
• Knowledge of deploying and managing AI/ML workloads in cloud environments.

Other Desirable Skills:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect/Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

• Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation in cloud environments.

• Database: Understanding of cloud databases, Open source and both relational and non-relational (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL).

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with Oracle solutions around Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AI, Modern Data Platform and other emerging tech. You will partner with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drive Cloud consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment. We are looking for professionals with solid experience in providing solutions to complex business challenges. Knowledge and background in Cloud & enterprise technologies is a must. Knowledge around specific Oracle technology product offerings would be an advantage. As a Cloud Engineer, you have the chance to develop a very broad spectrum of competencies, ranging from product expertise, customer interaction, communication, and general IT market knowledge.
