The Cloud Architect role within Oracle Consulting Tech (OCS Tech) offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work with the class-leading Oracle Cloud.  You will work with customers to design their cloud architecture, ensuring that their requirements for security, high-availability and disaster recovery are met.  You will be involved in the hands-on provisioning of cloud environments and provide assistance to customers migrating their workloads and applications.

You will be at the forefront of strategic cloud technology and business modernisation discussions. As a Cloud Architect, you will be part of our Cloud Integration team in Israel.

What you’ll do:

OCS Tech team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting infrastructure cloud solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle IaaS and PaaS services.

In your role, as a Cloud Architect you will:

• Work with Oracle Consulting sales and delivery colleagues to position and deliver the right technology and consulting services to maximize customer’s success in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Develop and implement secure cloud architecture solutions in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Engage in client-billable projects and pre-sales activities to design and architect customized cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to customer-specific requirements.
• Guide business stakeholders through workshops and help them defining solutions that meet their objectives – be the advocate for their business and technology needs.
• Lead our customers through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Bring your knowledge, enthusiasm, communication & leadership skills and be one of the “go-to experts” within the Oracle Consulting team.

What you’ll bring: 

• A strong enthusiasm for staying at the forefront of technological advancements, continuous learning, and helping customers achieve their business goals through innovative solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills paired with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated history of developing and deploying innovative technical infrastructure solutions tailored to business challenges within large enterprise organizations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with C-suite executives, technical teams, and customers, demonstrating value and aligning solutions to business outcomes.
• Extensive experience in architecting, implementing, and securing cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of emerging trends in cloud computing, including edge computing, hybrid cloud, serverless architectures, and AI/ML integration
• In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT frameworks, with proficiency in implementing DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in designing scalable and resilient infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, hypervisors, high availability, disaster recovery, and containerized applications.

Advantage:

• Experience in provisioning and automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Docker, coupled with capacity planning and compliance management expertise - Advantage.
• Hands-on experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability management, and penetration testing methodologies.
• OCI Experience / Certificates – Advantage.
• Architect Associate/Professional level certificates (AWS / Azure) are highly valued.
• Familiarity with Oracle technologies such as WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Database, and applications like E-Business Suite.
