About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of AI-driven video editing tools that empower creativity and engagement for millions of users. In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of AI innovation, collaborating with talented researchers and engineers to transform cutting-edge AI capabilities into intuitive, high-impact consumer products. Your work will bridge the gap between state-of-the-art AI and real-world user needs, ensuring that AI technologies translate into seamless, delightful editing experiences.
What You’ll Achieve
AI Product Innovator: Define the strategic vision for AI-powered video editing by leveraging market research, competitive analysis, and user insights. Shape the product roadmap by identifying and prioritizing AI opportunities that align with user needs and business goals.
User-Centric Designer: Design intuitive, engaging AI-driven video editing features that simplify advanced AI capabilities, making them accessible and valuable for all users.
Collaborative Leader: Partner with designers, AI researchers, and engineers to turn generative AI, multimodal models, and speech/video synthesis technologies into core editing experiences that redefine creativity.
Data-Driven Strategist: Utilize A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and key user metrics to continuously optimize AI-powered features and improve overall user engagement.
Skills You’ll Need To Bring
5-10 years of experience in product management, ideally in consumer video editing, content creation tools.
Proven track record in consumer-facing products, with expertise in designing intuitive, user-centric AI experiences.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive product decisions. Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies, experimentation frameworks, and data analysis tools
Solid technical understanding of AI, including large language models and generative AI.
Strong ownership and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building AI products that transform user experiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, including working with teammates across US/Asia time zones.
Location
Vancouver, Canada & Shanghai, China. This role requires frequent travel, with around four months per year based in Shanghai, China.
