About the role:

As a Full Stack Developer at OpenWeb, you will play a crucial role in the development and
optimization of our platform. You will be responsible for improving user experience, fixing bugs,
participating in sprint elaboration, finding technical solutions for evolutions, and reducing
technical debt. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to elaborate
specifications for new features and ensure the highest standards of code quality through code
reviews and writing unit tests.

 

What You’ll Get To Do:

- Develop and maintain backend and frontend features for our platform, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Optimize the platform to improve user experience and overall efficiency.
- Identify and fix bugs to enhance the stability and reliability of the platform.
- Participate in sprint planning and execution, working closely with product managers, tech leads, designers, and other developers.
- Proactively find technical solutions to support the evolution of the platform and reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with the team to elaborate specifications for new features and provide technical insights.
- Foster a collaborative team spirit through active participation in code reviews, technical discussions, and effective communication.
- Write unit tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the codebase.

 

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong emphasis on both frontend and backend development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross - functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Frontend Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Redux, RxJS, and TypeScript (in this order of importance) with a demonstrated ability to build responsive and interactive user interfaces.
- Backend Skills: Proficiency in Python and Flask, with experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and message broker systems like Kafka.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and experience working with collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of ad tech concepts such as OpenRTB, SSP/DSP, native ads, etc., is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
