Senior Staff Product Manager

Department: Product & Tech

Location: United States - Remote, Toronto, Canada

Employment Type: FullTime

About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

About the Role

OpenLoop is the digital health infrastructure powering modern medicine. Healthcare and non-healthcare brands use our white-label platform to launch, scale and run virtual and hybrid care without the operational complexity. We bring together one of the largest telehealth clinician networks in the country, nationwide payer coverage, integrated pharmacy and lab partners, EHR connectivity, 24/7 patient support and full revenue cycle management. Our partners put their brand on the front end, and everything behind it runs on us. We serve more than 3 million patients a year and power over 300,000 visits a month.

We're hiring Senior Staff Product Managers across every product and engineering pillar:

  • Patient Care: the core platform patients and clinicians use every day

  • Client Experience & Forward Deployment: helping partners launch, integrate and scale on OpenLoop

  • Platform Reliability & Infrastructure: the APIs, integrations and systems everything else depends on

  • Data & AI: our data foundation and the AI capabilities built on it

What makes this Senior Staff and not Staff is scope and leverage. You won't just run a roadmap. You'll set the direction for a whole product domain, shape strategy with the VP of Product, and make decisions that affect multiple teams. You'll work in a company that's still building its processes, and you'll help define them.

What You'll Do

  • Set the vision. Define where your domain needs to be in 12–24 months, why, and the sequence to get there. Make the case to leadership and get teams aligned behind it.

  • Inspire and align. Turn strategy into a narrative the whole company can repeat, and keep teams energized through shifting priorities.

  • Own outcomes, not output. Tie your roadmap to measurable results: partner growth, patient outcomes, revenue and operational efficiency. Be accountable for them.

  • Define success. Set the 3–5 metrics your domain is accountable for, review them regularly with leadership, and course-correct openly when they miss.

  • Lead without authority. Drive decisions across engineering, design, data, clinical, operations and go-to-market. Make hard tradeoffs visible and resolve them.

  • Build AI that earns its place. Find where AI creates real value for patients, clinicians and partners, then ship it with human review by design, evals before launch and monitoring after.

  • Work AI-native. Use AI every day for research, prototyping, analysis, specs and prioritization, and help the product team do the same.

  • Turn ambiguity into a plan. Take messy, over-scoped or conflicting asks and turn them into a phased plan you can defend, including a clear statement of what you're not doing.

  • Stay close to the field. Spend time with partners, clinicians and patients. Bring that evidence back so recurring gaps get fixed once, in the platform.

  • Raise the bar. Mentor PMs, sharpen how we write, prioritize and ship, and help shape a product org that's scaling fast.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including significant time owning complex, multi-team products at Staff level or equivalent.

  • Startup or high-growth experience: you've built products where priorities shift, processes are still forming and you wear more than one hat.

  • Demonstrated product leadership: you've set strategy for a product area, influenced senior leaders, and can name the outcomes you personally drove.

  • Track record of influencing senior leaders and aligning engineering, design, and business teams (e.g., legal, security, operations, sales, support) around a shared plan, including resolving conflicting priorities.

  • Strong partnership with engineering and design: you understand technical constraints, make sound tradeoffs and earn trust across functions.

  • A record of tying product work to business outcomes (revenue, retention, cost, customer impact) and building the business case for investment.

  • Ability to tell a compelling story about where the product is going, in a way that motivates engineers, customers, and executives alike.

  • Experience mentoring or leveling up other PMs, and shaping how a product org plans, writes, and ships.

  • Comfort operating in complex environments with real constraints, such as regulation, security requirements, or deep integrations with third-party systems.

  • Hands-on AI product experience: you've built or shipped AI-powered features and can explain how you measured quality and what you did when the model got it wrong.

  • AI-native in your own work: you use AI tools every day as part of how you do the job.

  • The ability to move between multi-year strategy and the detail of data, a PRD or a prototype.

  • Clear communication with executives, engineers and customers, including delivering unwelcome news early.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, digital health or another regulated domain (HIPAA, clinical workflows, payer, pharmacy).

  • Experience with B2B2C, platform, API or white-label products.

  • Experience in client-facing or forward-deployed product roles.

  • Familiarity with EHR or practice-management integrations.

  • A technical background in engineering, data or ML.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

  • Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401(k) + Company Match

  • Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more

Our Company
