About the Role:
Omnicom Media is looking for a passionate and skilled all-round Engineer to join our team. If you thrive on learning and want to work at the forefront of cloud technology and AI in Media, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you will use your software engineering background to help the team solve a range of challenges to deliver high-quality software for our end users. You won't be siloed; instead, you will bridge the gap between Data Engineering and DevOps, acting as the technical glue that keeps our systems robust.
Whether it is designing resilient cloud architectures, optimising complex data flows, or testing and deploying new AI technologies, you will bring a problem-solving mindset and a drive to make everything run seamlessly. You will be expected to apply first-principles thinking to ensure our infrastructure is scalable and secure.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You will work closely with engineers across the organisation, embedding best practices and continuously exploring new tools and approaches to improve our operations. We foster an environment where curiosity is encouraged and knowledge is shared.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in AWS and GCP, alongside a good understanding of the fundamentals of building software. Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go are essential, as you will be writing code to automate infrastructure and manipulate data on a daily basis.

Flexible Working

We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working. Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
