Embedded Quality Assurance Engineer, 80-100% (f/m/x)
Location: Klaus, Austria
What's it all about?
- You collaborate with an agile Scrum team on new and exciting products for the digital power grid of the future.
- You have a critical eye on software quality and address potential improvements.
- You participate in the entire development lifecycle: from refining requirements and defining test cases to ensuring the delivery of high‑quality product releases.
- You develop and maintain test automation for our cybersecurity products and our Substation Automation System (SAS) solutions, which run on a Linux‑based image in both hardware and virtualized environments
- You plan and optimize the physical test environment and our CI/CD system.
- Your ideas for improvement will influence our development process and you will take part in code reviews.
What are we looking for?
- You have a solid educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- You have several years of experience in software development, test automation and debugging complex systems.
- You enjoy writing clean, maintainable code in Python and are used to Linux.
- You already worked in a Scrum team that develops large and durable software frameworks.
- You have a passion for quality, document issues clearly and automate repetitive tasks to help the team work efficiently.
- You work in a structured, autonomous and reliable way.
- You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
- You feel comfortable working in English in an international environment.
- Certifications like ISTQB (or similar qualifications) are a plus.
