Data Engineer, 80-100% (f/m/x)

Location: Klaus, Austria

 
What's it all about? 
 
  • Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the operation and further development of our modern Microsoft Fabric data platform
  • As a data engineer, you design, build, and operate scalable data products for our departments
  • You build and run ETL/ELT pipelines with Fabric Pipelines and Notebooks, using SQL and Python
  • You will apply DevOps principles and use CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployments
  • You work closely with business departments to enable self-service analytics and provide support semantic models in Power BI
  
What are we looking for?
 
  • You have a solid understanding of the design, architecture, development, and implementation of cloud data platforms (data warehousing, data lake, or data lakehouse).
  • You have strong knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with a programming language such as Python.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Azure data services, ideally Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms and are motivated to transition to Fabric.
  • You have a solid understanding of dimensional data modelling and experience with reporting tools, ideally Power BI.
  • You ideally hold a degree in business informatics, computer science, mathematics, or have completed relevant training in the IT sector.
  • You are comfortable communicating in both German and English. (B2 German Level required)
